"I love steamer chairs! Such beautiful shapes and they look so elegant. The idea of taking a break on a warm afternoon to just lounge back for a while is a glorious one. I’ve tried them and tried them but they’re just too uncomfortable for someone of my most modest 5’ 5’’ height. All the bends are in the wrong places.

 

I asked Wayne if it would be possible to create me a personalised steamer seat, wondering all the time if it was just too big an ask. He listened to my wish list, worked out the adjustments that would be necessary and talked me through chairs that could be used as starting points. The Steamer Chair Project had life!

How much happiness can a well-crafted memorial bench give? A lot!

"I wanted a local crafts person to make a bench to honour my parents.
I had a certain design in mind and, from beginning to end, Tukosawa Creative has had a 'can do' attitude, along with their experience and advice to offer me. 

They included me in every important detail, so that our family feel more than pleased with the finished article.
Tukosawa Creative's attention to detail has ensured that we now have an outdoor bench that not only looks attractive, but is well fitted to withstand our Somerset weather. 

The bench is carefully but attractively secured in place and fitted the small brass plaque that we had had engraved by a firm in Clevedon just where we wanted it. 

Yes, We are very pleased both with the work and the way in which they involved us, yet also took initiative when needed.

This bench will last, looks beautiful and will stand the test of time. I'm sure that my parents would have been delighted with it!
