Who We Are

Tukosawa is literally taken from the Swahili - Tuko (We are) and Sawa (ok)
but also the name of our founders Sara and Wayne Abbiss.

Founded in 2017 and with the workshop based just outside Glastonbury, Tukosawa Creative has quickly established itself as a quality producer and renovator of garden furniture and other woodcraft.

The workshop is usually active 7 days a week and welcomes prearranged visitors.

In addition to this they also support a group of very talented artisans and crafts people with the sale of genuine handmade Maasai jewellery and accessories from Kenya.

We pride ourselves in the use of reclaimed and recycled materials in all our creations and love telling the story of where they came from. We believe that nothing is impossible and love to work with our clients to rejuvenate and restore items thought beyond saving or indeed to create something truly original  from scratch.

A firm passion for supporting other local business' is also important to us and so this is where you can find our goods for sale or items that can be shown some Tukosawa Creative loving!.
