A client recently came to us with a sculpture of a pheasant created from reclaimed scrap metal. It was looking a little tired so they asked if we could give it some
Tukosawa Creative loving... so of course we obliged!
The Challenge
The Challenge
After a thorough cleaning and removal of a surprising large amount of wildlife we set to work by researching typical colurs and textures. We decided on a layered approach to the body of yellow, red and gold to give an incandescent effect. This was complimented with striking bold colours for the head and a chrome finish for the legs.
The Results
The customer was so impressed that the next week a much larger challenge arrived in the shape of a four foot tall heron! In a very rusty condition it offered a different range of challenges, but with a wire brush and a lot of paint we created something special!
