When a client asked if we could come and look at her bench that had sentimental value and was in need of restoring... even we were surprised! But with some painstaking restoration this beautiful bench was brought back to life.

This beautifully ornate hand-carved Indonesian hardwood bench was over 20 years old and unfortunately was suffering in more ways than one.
Even the monkeys sat below were worried it might fall on them!
And such fears were realised when it arrived at the workshop literally in pieces. But never to shy from a challenge we pledged to see what a little... ok a lot of Tukosawa Creative loving could possibly do.
Value
The client was more than a little happy with the results of each piece individually stripped, sanded and stained with heavily damaged parts replaced with new hardwood carved to shape. The results are plain to see and at a fraction of the cost of sourcing a replacement bench of the same design and quality.
